Katy Perry took a moment out from her hectic Prismatic World Tour, currently on the third leg in Australia, for fun and frolics on board luxury yacht Sassy… as well as the occasional pose next to the aptly named yacht.
The amazing yacht is 94ft long and was built in 2009 by Kha Shing.
She accommodates 10 guests in a spacious on deck master suite, another master suite below and two additional guest staterooms.
And the highlight for Katy must be the $250,000 worth of high end audio visual equipment – so the tunes can be played at the best quality level!
Wearing a purple and white seagull-patterned ensemble, Katy posted this image on her Instagram feed to show fans that she was having some much deserved time off and was certainly doing it in style!
She was enjoying a trip exploring the beautiful Hayman Island, the most northerly island of the Whitsundays, off the east coast of Australia. What makes it even more spectacular is that it is a very small private island, open to the public and most famous for its luxury resort.
Her Instagram photo had the caption ‘G2G my whip is here,’ a phrase that perfectly reflected the name of the boat and Katy’s striking pose in the picture.
The Roar singer will be performing in Melbourne on November 18 and 19, followed by two nights in Sydney on November 21 and 22.
The Australian concerts are part of the third leg of Katy’s tour, hitting venues throughout Oceania.
She will complete the concert line-up in Europe at the beginning of 2015.
The Grammy-nominated Katy has been a star since the release of her first pop album, One Of The Boys, in 2007. That album’s first two singles – I Kissed A Girl and Hot N Cold – both reached the top 10 on the Billboard charts. Celeb Katy followed up with Teenage Dream in 2010 and Prism in 2013.
She is known for her wild costume changes during her tours as well as her wacky red carpet style – not to mention her marriage to British comedian and actor Russell Brand.
Either way, we think she is one sassy lady on board the perfectly named yacht!
